The independent bookstore in Mequon, Next Chapter, invites members and supporters of the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County to attend their Jonathan Alter book signing event on August 19. Alter is an MSNBC commentator, among other things, and recently released a book called “The Promise” about President Obama’s first year in office. He previously wrote about President Franklin D. OFA Wisconsin has scheduled 10 Days of Action from now until election day to conduct state wide phone banking and door to door canvassing. We are targeting new 2008 voters to encourage them to get out and vote again in 2010. We are looking to have events across the state and could still use help organizing them.
