Scott Walker stung by fake David Koch call - Part 1

Ian Murphy from the Buffalo Beast in Buffalo, NY posed as David Koch, and managed to make a phone call to Walker's office, getting an extremely interesting narrative from Walker.

People across the net are asking "is this real?" -  We're tracking this down, but so far the answer seems to be "probably".  Going to be an interesting day.

The Buffalo Beast's web site has been mysteriously dead for a little while - looks like they were re-installing, or possibly adding more servers.  In any case, they're now back up and the article is available at http://www.buffalobeast.com/ - oops - they're down again.  This time it just looks like their site is dying under the load.

FDR must be spinning in his Hyde Park grave.

First the conservatives misquote him to mislead people into thinking he opposed public employees being unionized.

And now Scott Walker is going to steal his Fireside Chat to lie "directly to the people of Wisconsin" on Tuesday.

Let's hope the Democrats in the legislature have asked for time to respond to Walker, on Wisconsin Eye and any other station gullilble enough to carry his "chat."

He continues to pile whopper upon whopper and is unchallenged by the media.

We're in Alpha

This site is an attempt to bring in information from various sources about Scott Walker, the budget bill that he has introduced, and the reaction of unions and other people in Wisconsin. We are building our own core of bloggers, and will be bringing in content from other sites around the state and country that si relevant to the cause.

Bear with us - things will get better over the next few days.

Things are pretty rough here ate the moment - we're sorting through some technology that is new to us, and still having a few problems with the site.  But really soon now we expect things to be more stable.  Read on to learn more about what we're doing.
